Growing on TikTok and Reels with AI

Oct 6, 2026 1 min read

Short-form video rewards consistency and strong hooks. AI can't film for you, but it can remove the blank-page problem and speed up planning.

Find your content pillars

Ask AI to suggest 3–5 content pillars for your niche and audience, such as tutorials, behind the scenes, myths and opinions. Every video should fit one pillar.

Generate ideas in batches

Give me 30 short video ideas for a [niche] account aimed at [audience].
For each: a hook under 10 words, the format (tutorial, POV, storytime,
before/after) and the payoff viewers get by the end.

Write hooks that stop the scroll

The first 1–2 seconds matter most. Ask for hooks using curiosity ("Nobody tells you this about..."), a bold claim, a mistake ("Stop doing this...") or a quick visual surprise.

Script tightly

Ask for scripts with timestamps, on-screen text and shot ideas. Keep one idea per video and cut every unnecessary word.

Plan and batch

Create a weekly calendar and film several videos in one session. Use AI to write captions and choose hashtags afterwards.

Learn from your data

Paste your top and bottom performers' topics, hooks and retention stats, and ask AI to spot patterns.
